Our Standard Home Inspection

We will inspect the structure, systems, and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology.

We encourage you to attend your inspection so that we can describe the process, explain my findings, point out important maintenance items, and answer all of your questions.

As a state-licensed Certified Professional Inspector trained by InterNACHI, we adhere to a comprehensive Residential Standards of Practice. This means that we inspect all of the following, when visible and accessible:

  • Roof
  • Structural Components
  • Attic, Ventilation & Insulation
  • Exterior Classing
  • Porch & Deck
  • Attached Garage
  • Driveway
  • Foundation
  • Basement/Crawlspace
  • Fireplace
  • Electrical System
  • Plumbing System
  • HVAC System
  • Interior, including:
    • Built-In Appliances
    • Ceilings, Floors & Walls
    • Windows/Glazing
    • Doors

Following the evaluation, we compile all findings in an easy-to-read report, which will include detailed descriptions of any discovered issues. The report is emailed to you. Our job isn't finished until you understand everything in it.

Move-In Certified Sell Inspection

Are you selling your home? We can inspect it before you even list it. A Seller's Pre-Listing Inspection alerts you to any defects or problems with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates. Use your inspection report as a great marketing tool which may even convince the prospective buyer to waive his inspection contingency. Avoid 11th-hour negotiations and delays, and justify your full asking price by having your home for sale inspected now.

Multi-Unit Housing Inspection

We can inspect your investment/rental property having up to four separate residential units. Please contact us for more information.

THE RECALLCHEK PROCESS

Making America's Homes Safer One appliance at a time.

How it works:

* Appliance data for a property is submitted to RecallChek through a number of means depending on which is most appropriate.

* At RecallChek Headquarters, your manufacturers and model numbers are computer matched against MILLIONS of recalls using our Model Number Algorithm (MNA).

* RecallChek will then hand-check the report, to eliminate wrong numbers from worn plates and ID cards and other problems.

* In the event of a potential recall, RecallChek issues a report including

1) the nature of the recall,
2) where the product was sold,
3) how to remedy the defect, and
4) how to get the item repaired/replaced in most cases - absolutely FREE

Radon Testing

You cannot see, smell or taste radon. But it still may be a problem in your home. When you breathe air containing radon, you increase your risk of getting lung cancer. In fact, the Surgeon General of the United States has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. If you smoke and your home has high radon levels, your risk of lung cancer is especially high.

Testing is the only way to find out your home's radon levels. The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes below the third floor for radon.

Please contact us to set up your Radon test.
